High Tower Swimwear

Our Story

When I was eighteen years old, I got my business license.

At nineteen, I launched my first swimwear collection.

What started with bikinis stored beneath my college bed has slowly grown into something I never could have imagined: a brand with customers around the world, relationships with retailers across the country, and a small showroom and fulfillment studio in my hometown of Santa Cruz, California.

But High Tower Swim was never just about swimwear.

It has always been about creating the kind of life I wanted to live.

I grew up in Santa Cruz, where days revolved around the ocean. Junior Guards, beach afternoons, saltwater, sunshine, and the feeling that life somehow slows down when you're outside. At the same time, I was fortunate enough to travel from a young age, with family in Costa Rica and a curiosity that made the world feel much bigger than home.

Those experiences shaped me long before I realized they would shape my business.

I've always been someone who wanted independence. I loved creating things, finding opportunities, and working toward ideas that felt bigger than myself. Even as a kid, I was constantly trying to earn money in creative ways. Looking back, entrepreneurship was always there—I just didn't have a name for it yet.

When I started college, I wasn't entirely sure where I belonged. I took classes trying to figure out what I wanted my future to look like. Then, on the first day of one course, someone walked in to talk about entrepreneurship.

Everything clicked.

I changed my path, joined the entrepreneurship program, and spent months writing what became a twenty-page business plan for High Tower Swim. I entered it into a California university venture competition, where it was selected as one of the top business plans. While I was invited to continue pitching the concept, I ultimately decided to build the company independently using my own savings.

I wanted to create it my way.

Long before High Tower Swim existed, I had a love for beautifully made swimwear. I saved for bikinis from brands I admired because they represented something more than clothing to me. They represented confidence, craftsmanship, and a lifestyle I aspired to.

But I also wondered why exceptional swimwear had to feel so unattainable.

That question became the foundation of High Tower Swim.

I wanted to create luxury-quality swimwear that prioritized beautiful fabrics, flattering fits, and thoughtful design while remaining more accessible than many of the brands that inspired me.

Every decision since has been guided by that same philosophy.

As the company grew, so did my perspective.

After our first year, I realized sustainability couldn't simply be another selling point. It had to become a standard.

Today, every collection is produced using premium recycled fabrics certified to globally recognized environmental and safety standards. We don't purchase massive quantities of stock fabrics that create unnecessary waste. Instead, we create our own printed textiles for production, manufacture in thoughtful quantities, and repurpose remaining materials into future samples whenever possible.

To me, sustainability isn't about perfection.

It's about making better decisions every chance you get.

The same philosophy extends to how we manufacture.

Our swimwear is designed in California and ethically handmade in Bali, where I've built relationships with partners who care deeply about craftsmanship and responsible production. These choices don't always maximize profit, but they've always aligned with the kind of company I want to build.

I've never dreamed of building the biggest swimwear brand.

I've dreamed of building one I'm proud of.

One that allows me to wake up excited to work.

One that creates beautiful things without asking the planet, or the people behind them, to pay the price.

Today, High Tower Swim is still intentionally small. Every collection is created thoughtfully, produced in limited quantities, and designed with longevity in mind rather than fast-moving trends.

More than anything, I hope this brand becomes part of your own story.

Whether it's the bikini you pack for your dream vacation, the one you wear every weekend at your favorite beach, or simply something that makes you feel like yourself, I hope it reminds you to make room for the life you're building—not just the vacations you're waiting for.

Thank you for being here.
